this deck is most def worth buying... its pioneer quality so you know you're getting the best for your money.. the display is bright crisp for day time use.. and automatically dims at night so as not to be too bright.. has tons of features all listed on the pioneer site... it fits extremely well in my double DIN dash space in my 2000 honda accord.. it works flawlessly and touch screen is very responsive.. shows dvds extremely well along with just about every other video and audio file types

I have had this unit for 3 weeks now, and I am very impressed with it. I moved up from a 7800mp, and I am so glad I did. The touchscreen is very responsive, and is visible in all lighting. The unit plays any format of music or video(even my ipod video podcasts).
Sound quality is awesome. The ipod control is very fast. The new ipod controller is a vast improvement from the one I had on my 7800mp. XM integration is nice. I recommend the GEX-20 so you get the 3 line display. I am considering adding on a rearview camera. The unit looks great in my Saturn Vue. I highly recommend this solid unit for it's price and functionality.

Where to start? A name brand (and good one at that) in-dash dvd player for under $400? I had a factory radio in an '05 Pathfinder and was tired of trying to find FM transmitters for my ipod, so I bit the bullet and took a chance on this with not many reviews at the time I got it. Well i really lucked out. This thing is great. Its customizable to go with your vehicle's lighting, it integrates seamlessly with ipods(note: you can even watch youtube videos on it with an ipod touch or iphone), dvd's look and play well (note: as the guy above said you can get around the video lock out whilst driving. You don't need a professional to do it though, just dig around on google a bit. Of course I would never do this and don't recommend it. I just ran across it while learning how to install it on my own). You can hook it up to extra monitors, hook in other devices, use bluetooth, setallite, or HD radio if you get the adapters. If you're like me and you have a Garmin and thus don't need navigation built in this is the perfect head unit.
